How deep are the grouper? I haven't been down in a while, but will be down next week.

25' to as deep as you want to go. Most reports indicate regardless of depth, mostly shorts. Ya just have to go hunting.

Would like everyone's opinion on something. Since we're all catching loads of shorts in the 18" - 21" range, does that mean in a year or so we'll all be catching loads of 22"-23" keepers (if they don't ratchet up the size limit again)? Or is this too simplistic? What factors could prevent these little darlings from gracing my dinner plate about a year from now? Tks
