Econfina 7-01

Post by Dubble Trubble »

First at the ramp, in the water at 5:30. Eased out in the dark, daybreak just as we exit the river. Went over to spot near the Rock and began the drift in offshore direction. Back and forth till the heat came on around 11:00. I think we caught more trout on this trip than I have in a while, probaby over 50, but most were shorts. Wound up with 6 keepers, with none over 17"......and one keeper Rock Bass.

What did we catch em on?

I can't (gulp) tell you that........ :smt009

Fried fish for dinner, and slept real good last night.....

Hooked :smt004

Went yesterday too. Caught lots of shorts, did manage three keepers. The 16-yr old caught a shonuff 26 incher! I couldn't catch nothin but sharks! Glad he had good time though, better for him to be fishing than riding the roads looking for trouble!

It was HOT! Drank a case of water & about 9 Gatorade between the three of us.
Blind in one eye & can't see out of the other!

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
