First off Happy Fourh of July!
Tides were just not in my favor for a successful day so I had to try out the freshwater. Chad explained how to push in one of the weights for some extra distance on my reels and boy does that mug fly now. Well I went to Lake Jackson, and since the bottom fell out its only accessible by yak, mud buddy or airboat. First time I ever been there and wish I had a scale. Take note that the biggest largemouth is over 28 inches. Not a bad fish. Wish I had taken better pics.
The small one is 1 of 20 or so less than 3 lbs.
This momma bear is back in the water waiting on another day.
Same fish but a different photo.

I'm thrilled to see fish still hanging in there. Hope the rains are favorable for quickly filling that thing back up!
