scallops

Post by volguy »

never have understood this, but two years ago everyone was making a big deal about scallops. so we went to st george to stay with a friend for the weekend. i thought i would try this scallop thing while laying on the beach one day to see what all the fuss was about. we had come in from fishing the bay and were hanging out til we went back out in the afternoon. anyway, we got a limit each day wading out about waist deep into the surf. never have seen anyone else getting them in the surf, but they were everywhere then. everyone had been talking about how hard it was to catch them. this was the only time i have ventured into saltwater in five years since i started fishing so much and seeing all the sharks that we see.
