I can't tell if the athletic shoes have laces or velcro closures. That would confirm whether or net he's retired.
What was I supposed to do today?

Black socks?

I know a softball team in Big Pine Key that wears black socks as part of their uniform. They also wear flowered shirts and shorts. Be careful bending over to pick up a ball.
