Lake Jackson Fourth of July

I searched the FWC website for info on driving around Lake Jackson and will not fish there if its not legal but I need to know what the regulations are in that area if there is no posting of signs. Plenty of people are there so I guess I'll have to call and check the info out. Otherwise its a hell of a drag for a kayak.
It's buried in this website, but I copied out the important stuff. I wouldn't worry with it too much. Like you said, there are plenty of people out there. I'd go with the old "I didn't know any better routine", and he probably wouldn't say much. It all got started because people doing the wrong things (drinking, mudding), not people who there to use the lake for fishing, so I'd say he would cut you some slack.

Wow, that was fast. Not only are there signs but post have been erected in the middle of the roads with CLOSED AREA on them. I'll try not to post anything else about where I'm having fun if this is what happens. But if the response is so fast by the city, could you set up synchronized traffic lights instead of this archaic system used now. I'd be glad to program them for you.
