Understand about the therapy thing. It's good to have something you can absorb yourself in, to shut the rest of the world out in spurts.
I think you will enjoy that type of boat, if your new to it.. While I haven't had it off the rack in nearly two years and it doesn't compare to that one, we have an Old Town 15' squareback with a Yam 4- WOT speed is about 6 kts. We use to fish the bay on our yearly trip down here in it. Lucky we didn't get our butts drowned.
We took it up on the Chattahoochee River once to run from Duluth (just north of ATL) to the Laniar Dam. Took us 4 hours to go about 10 miles.. We were kicking along, when a duck walking on the bank passed us.

All that to catch a haf dozen 10-12" brown trout.
The things we do for fun.

It will be worth the time. You will enjoy it, I'm sure.

The inside is taped up

..Tumblehome sides, vertical panels proved to be a challenge keeping the tape wet...The resin would drain off and leave voids....Hind sight, I should of mixed some cabosil and resin to keep the tape wet....Need to do some sanding to smooth out some resin piles and glass humps. Next is glassing the entire inside, stringers and bulkheads...

Material check - three gallons of epoxy will make the butt joints, fillet seams and tape the hull. I believe I have used about 80 yards of tape as well...

Need to order supplies again

Chalk, I have a 1989 shrot shaft Johnnyrude in excellent running condition for sale.
Carb and foot rebuild was 1.5 yr ago. $850

Looks kinda like my gheenoe. Actually, more like a Gheenoe Highsider than a Classic with that sharp keeled bow.
