OK, got the family all pumped up to attend. Wife has even invited her mother to go along. She's been interested in going kayaking with us and this will be a good time to do it.

Got a few questions though. We're seriously thinking about getting my 8 y/o daughter a kayak this winter (Christmas present?) and wonder what you might recommend? Got anything we could rent to let her try? I have a kid-sized paddle for her. Since we'll be taking the Mother-In-Law that day, we'll need to rent something for my daughter to paddle that day.

Can I go ahead and call to reserve something for her?

Since the family wants to do a paddle up the river and coast down thing, when would you recommend arriving and doing so?

I've only been there a couple of times, so what will the deal be with parking?

Thanks!!!

K, we're all set to go. Just a couple of final questions. When will the drawing for the kayak be? Do you have to be present to win?

Just trying to plan our paddling trip to incorporate the drawing since we're going to win that kayak for my daughter!!!
