Saltwater and outboards

Post by Redbelly »

Is Yamaha the best for this use? As in most rsistant to corrosion?

I just bought a 2000 Nissan 30hp, and it has a place to run water for flushing out the top od the motor along with the normal port at the foot.

I am getting my redfish rig ready...... :D

I am Yamaha man, but before this one I bought a new 02' 40 hp Nissan. Used on the flats for 2 yrs. It looked like new when I sold it and still does today. But I take good care of my stuff. I think any brand of motor these days should hold up fine with a little care.
