I was inspired by Chalk's 6000th post and all his picts, thus I had to go feeshin. Ended up having a heck of a day.
Left the lighthouse with BD and headed east. Fished new water all day. First creek landed 5 reds to 25", and lost 3. Second creek landed 7 reds to a nice 30" and lost 2, but also landed a 23" trout. Had a 26" on for a short fight with his buddy right beside him, first one threw the secret lure and second nailed it. So, got to fight 2 26" reds for one cast. That was the kind of day I had .
Fished a few other small creeks and found 2 more slot reds then drifted for an hour and landed 5 trout on topwater and kept an 18" and one just shy of 20".
Finished the afternoon with scallop pasta and blackened red .

Bunch of no good, non-working, sons a..... ....there ought to be a law against doing stuff like that while honest, decent folks are trying to make a living
Remember who we're talk'n bout here.... Birddog don't need no water, he can launch right in the middle of a park'n lot, boat ramp, or on top of an oyster bar
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
