Well okay

Say I have a GPS - a Garmin 172C GPS

Now I want that Bluechart stuff and I want to be able to play with stuff on my computer and then transfer it over to the GPS

I know I need the americas CD with one unlock

Then I can get the PC / AC power connection...

Will that do it?????

As I recall.... ya don't have a boat yet (unless you been hold'n out on us)

I suggest you stop by one of the local dealers and pick up something appropriate to your status. :D

Just what you said. You need the bluechart cd, and the PC/AC power connection.
