Hit the water at daylight, supposed to be low but still plenty ofwater. Headed west this time moved in close , eased up to a bar and it was on, Mad redfish everywhere. We landed 5 keepers and several shorts. we didn't bother these fish at all. They were content to stay there and chase bait. Spent a good deal of time playing them, then realized it had got hot and still. Moved out on the flats but didn't do much with the trout, only a couple of keepers. Probaly missed the trout bite playing with the reds.
Saw more mullet , and schools of bait than I've seen in a while. At one point there was a school of mullet moving across the flats with hundreds jumping out of the water. Lots of critters busting them too.
