A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Methinks this long-overlooked piece of fishing equipment needs some discussion.
Do you think these could be mounted on the underside of a glassed livewell lid to hold a bait net (dip net) in place so it didn't bounce around or get misplaced?
Dude, you're dying for that boat huh? I don't see why that wouldn't work. Just make sure the dipnet is all plastic. My boats previous owner kept a partially metal dipnet in the livewell. You can imagine what that looks like. I wouldn't want you to mess up that pretty ride.
"Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant?? I'm halfway through my fish burger and I realize, Oh man....I could be eating a slow learner."
If your referring to a bait net...I would use this one, no glueing, drilling or screwing required......ezpz...The fallacy with a holder is that you have to put it in it, if you don't then it's not the holders fault
I use the floating bait net Chalk is talking about,When fishing just leave it floating in the livewell dip up your bait & drop it back in .Wilson's bait & tackle in Perry,Fl. has them for 2.95 or 3.95 I can't remember which.
