Dog Days Blues

Man....I luvs ta fish.....but this muggy heat has pushed me inside, as I usually work a lot of the day in the heat.
Gotta work on my flooring this weekend, so when I'm done the next weekend is the 4 day fish-a-thon!

Anybody else letting the heat beat ya back?

Still workin in the heat. But I have confirmed again, this week, a roof is no place to be this time of year.

They laid some fresh black-top in front of Best Buy today, and there weren't a lick of a breeze blowing. It felt like I was walking in an oven. Made me want to go swimming really bad. Would have been a good day to fish.

There's not very many places that get hotter than the flats this time of year when the wind quits blowing....like it did yesterday at Aucilla about 12 high noon.. Had it not been for unbrellas...we would have roasted.
I never thought about it being dogdays yesterday...but it sure fit right in...must have caught 30 cats....between 2 boats....both hardheads and sail cats.

I've fished more this summer than ever. I figured out, its fish in it or stay at home and cut grass and work around the house in it.
