St. Joe Bay scallops 7/27

Post by bman »

Went down for the day with my wife- Put in at the park and tried a few places where we have done well in the past. Almost none- I was getting worried. Then about the fourth place we stopped they were thick.
In about half of the time we spent at any of the other spots we had our limit.

My wife with a big smile and a big Bag-O-Scallops

The Ice Chest- I have to say 2 gal per person looks small compared to the old days of 5gal per person...

Hey, B, good catch. While the 2 gallons is less than the old 5, it sure takes less time to clean!

Luck,

EJ (we met at the coffee shop last week, I had the redfish shirt on!)

RF- That is funny! We all need to start flying BBF flags!
There were all you could want right there.

EJ- Good to meet you the other morning.
Cafe con Leche from Cool Grinz is the best.

You know there were plenty to eat when we finished cleaning them- but the cost / results benefit is better left uncalculated.
FOCUS ON THE FUN!

Nice catch Barry. Those look quite a bit larger than the ones Katie and I found at St. Joe two weeks ago. Ya'll done good.
