Had the chance to turn in inspection into a weekday fishing trip. On the water by 9:00, catch some pinfish on the back side of DI and head out. Tried several places from 35-50 ft without a single fish. Had a few breakoffs, but that was it. Tried pinfish and LYs, but they seemed to have lockjaw today. Nicest day on the water I've had in a long time. About as flat as you could ask for. Wind started to pick up around 3 and the storms started to build so time to get out. Loaded and packed by 4 to head to the house. Only thing that made the cooler was a spanish that decided to bite the sabiki. Long day down and back and in the sun so I'm off to :sleep:

thanks for the report! Must be nice to tie in a day of work with fishin.

Glad ya got to go....It's pretty tough out there in shallow water right now.....I sure miss getting out there on a weekday....good luck next trip :thumbup:
