St Marks 8/7

Post by fish on!! »

Headed to st marks after work for a quick trip with the girlfriend. On the water at 5:30 and headed east. I think NOAA was a little off since it seemed to be blowin a little harder than they predicted. No big deal. Fishing was slow but did manage about 5 short trout, 1 keeper to 17 inches and a few catfish. Nothin worth takin pictures of except the girlfriend and you fellas arent that lucky. Overall nice afternoon on the water until I slipped and busted my A$$ on the ramp while taking the boat out. Got a good laugh out of my girlfriend. She's very supportive.

I think I may have broke my hip. :-D

I guess its karma. I let her back the trailer down to take the boat out while I waited out in the river. She is still learning so it took a little while. (Good thing we were the last boat out) I was laughing a little to myself and as soon as I get the boat on the trailer I bust it and she gets her laugh. :smt013

No wonder you didn't catch any keepers.. :-D The only keeper was already in the boat!
