A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Has anyone else noticed that the new penny colored gulps tend to tear up easier than the molting while seeming to get the same amount of bites? Is this by design or what? Just an observation.
I haven't fished them but I have heard from friends the pin fish love to nip at those scented baits.
I usually fish with SWAs which I don't think are scented. If a trout sees it and likes it = he hits it. Pinfish sometimes get the tail but thats about it.
I find that the bite has been a little slow for the gulps in the back seat of my truck, however, I think I have fixed the problem. I went by South Georgia Outdoors and got me some nuclear chickens to sit back there with the other ones......MAN OH MAN, I CAN'T WAIT TILL MY OLE PROLINE IS READY TO GO FISHING!!!!!! Excuse me for the outburst, I feel better now
