Well we went to fish high tide at this oyster bar that has been money all year.
We were bottom fishing with Jerrys Bait shrimp so you know the fish will respect us. The total of the day was 4 Reds, 1 22, 3 short reds, and some trash fish. We also saw some 800 year old Sea Turtle, a nice size sharks, and 2 f18 fighter jets.
So I was looking at my rod which I could tell was just mildy hit and decided to pick it up from the rod holder. I get hit a few more times then something takes it and I set the hook. So about 30 seconds into the fight I was pretty sure it wasnt a red and I didnt think it could be a trout unless it was like a 50 lb trout or something. So after an awsome fight it finally broke within a few feet of me. I could tell it was a nice size fish with a yellow tail. I did not see a lateral line around its size so I didnt think it was a snook but other than that im not to sure.
