Forum newbie report:
Slid canoe down west bank of road to St. Marks lighthouse on Friday to fish in upper East River. Fished falling tide, starting at high tide late morning, working way down past confluence of two forks of East River to the first oyster bars. Mostly fished chartreuse Redfish Magic spinnerbait; wife fished a Terminator with a red/gold Victimizer body. Naturally, she got the only red, a nice 26.5 incher. Worked her and her new Shimano over pretty well. Kept getting hits on the Magic, and finally landed a nice flounder. Both ate well. Not a stunning day, numbers-wise, but better than work no matter what.
Sunday, put canoe in at Wakulla Beach (still looking for a real boat so I can get to at least one known honeyhole). Strong wind from south kept tide up in the bay, so never got to really fish falling tide before bailing out for a storm at 3 pm. Released four puppies on live shrimp and gold spoon and a couple catfish and one jack crevalle. Missed one big strike on the gold spoon. Fun, but no dinner.

Hi, TC- We still have the Grady, but we find ourselves wanting to spend more time inshore these days, what with gas prices, high seas, and our grouper holes no longer producing like they used to. Let's just say we want to be multi-dimensional and take our pick, so we need two boats! Thanks for asking.tin can wrote:YardYacht, is the Grady gone, or are you looking for something smaller?
Good luck with your search.
