Johnson9.9 HP 4-Stroke

Post by bman »

Franken Motor?!?
I'm helping a friend sell a 1996 Johnson 9.9 4 Stroke
He found out it was almost the same motor as the 15HP.
Being an engineer he could not stand leaving it alone.
So He Re-Carbed it to be +15 HP

It cranks on the first or 2nd pull and pumps water strong.

Includes-
2 props- one needs a new hub, 2 gas tanks, Original Carb and linkage.
He will reinstall the original carb and linkage if you want it "Stock".
$1100 OBO

Here is the original carb:

http://www.nada.com + upgrades

Consumer/boats/outboard/J...it is the right time to sell that motor though. 15hp will push a boat loaded down w/ corn.

I don't tell nobody how to price their stuff. I will say that I bought a 2004 johnson 2 stroke last year with less than 1 hour on it for $1100. Could not tell it wasn't brand new.
