I water tested a Scout 170 Costa, with a Yamaha 115 four stroke, today.
With just me in the boat, it floated in less than 8" of water.
It will get up and run in less than 18" of water. Once running, the boat will run in 12" of water.
I ran the boat 31 miles and burned 3.1 gallons of gas.
The boat is a very stable fishing platform.
I think I'll keep it.
What was I supposed to do today?
