Wevans, it does look a bit spooky but some times the rain bands can be misleading as to the center of circulation. Based on the 11am info and if it hooks like it's supposed to it may still be following the projected route/cone of probability.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
SR, if you look at how the rain bands circulate around the eye, you can tell exactly where it is and in which direction it's headed and while I can't show you the info that I get from a certain site lets just say that from what I see of the steering currents and the lack of a strong wind shear, that it will be stronger and affect the West coast more than predicted
