Hard Top

Post by Second Chance »

I want to replace the soft top on my Mako 253 with a hard top. I keep the boat in C'belle at the Moorings. Can anyone recommed a business in the area or 75mi radius that does that kind of work?

Second Chance, Thought about doing it yourself? Check out this website http://www.sportfishingflorida.net/greg ... roject.htm The board that is used is available at home supply stores. It has a lite fiberglass coating from the factory. Use some 1200 biax fabric, epoxy and paint. Good luck.

There's a new place in Sopchoppy that does custom SS, I don't even know their name yet, but I bet Scooter at Avery Marine knows them :D

Got my boat back with the hard top inatalled :D Scooter over at Avery took care of all the electronics and antennas. Joe over at Pro Welding & Fabrication in Sopchoppy built and installed the top. Thanks for the advise Wevans  I would highly recommend both of these guys. The work was first class and the pricing reasonable. Now I just need to get back down and put her in the water 8)
