I found a new place to fish.

I found a new place to fish, and you'll have to go with me to see it. First off I had a fifteen minute tug of war with a Tarpon that hit a topwater plug after I saw it roll on the placid calm waters. Then he broke the leader off. Next I caught the biggest sailcat I ever saw, over ten lbs. Then I caught this 23 inch trout and well, I had to eat it since I have not eaten any fish here yet. It was good.

Sounds like Oyster Bay between Spring Creek Channel and Jacks Island to me.

Nice Job! Glad to see you're figuring out the neighborhood. Welcome to one of the best places to kayak fish anywhere.
