Any Flounder fishing advice?

I'm fishing in an online fishing tournament that involves pictures and slams of reds, trout, and flounder. The problem is that I usually have to drive to Jacksonville to catch a flounder for my slam each month and really need some advice on places to catch flounder between Aucilla and Carabelle. I do most of my fishing between St. Marks and Panacea, but have not come across any real "go to" locations for catching flounder and would appreciate some advice.

You can try any of the local creeks or rivers and fish around the cuts and oyster bars where the flounder like to hang out. I like to use a lead head jig with a tail tipped with a piece of shrimp bounced along the bottom. Also their favorite food are mud minnows and zebra minnows drifted above mentioned bar and cuts. It's Friday!

Travel to Jacksonville? I have to admire the effort but we really do have a lot of Flounder here. The best strategies here are like most anywhere. I (also) prefer to jig with a Killifish and work off bar ends that have decent water exchange and are in the neighborhood of oysters, sand, grass, and deeper water. The outer bars at the East River sould produce. Wakulla Beach along the channel/west side of the southwestern most bar, or along the west side of Patty's Island. Lanark Reef should be prime, especially off either end. Alligator Point, around bay mouth bar, should also work well. In a few weeks the shrimp will exit the Ochlocknee and that area will definitely offer up a slam. My problem is being willing to concentrate on Flounder long enough to make it happen when there's other gamefish keeping my attention.

I have caught them on lead head jigs tipped with shrimp or cut bait bounced along sandy bottom around creek mouths & just off the edge of reefs around 20'.

Dunno if its the best place to catch them, but the last time we got any, it was with live shrimp fished on the bottom in 6-8' of water.
