EJ, I really do appreciate your question and emphasis on data versus "winging it".
That said, I don't wing science.
True, I have no data on the relevance of photo period to Trout & Redfish behavior. That’s why I said I didn’t think photo period was relevant to our beloved inshore fish. I also said it was fun to think about (as opposed to peer review).
Since you brought it up, if photo period is a relevant variable to trout and redfish behavior (not over slot redfish spawning offshore) then I'd like to apply it to my constant wondering about where they are.
Any suggestions?

I've been reading this thread with much interest.
Am I to understand that basically the water temp is showing signs
of cooling? :roll:

Is photoperiod anything like photoshop, ie, do results depend
on operator skills? :o
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
