I wore em out or they wore me out this past Fri and Sat... Get over around Patty's Island assuming you're fishing outta St Marks area ,and put out a piece of cut bait under a CT and sit back ! Gulp shrimp work wonderful too !
From about six till seven I caught several on a topwater..plus missed quite a few fish that boiled under the plug..assumed they were cats..
This was in water 3-4 ft deep...
Hope this helps and welcome to this wonderful source of information !!!!! :-D

Welcome, Just Fish. If you find where the sail cats are, they'll hit anything. As Sundown stated, 3 to 4 ft. of water is a good place to start looking.
What was I supposed to do today?

Welcome. It's a pleasure to have you join us

Can't add to the advice you already got on the sailcats.

Can add that there's a whole bunch more crazy ones on this forum than what Tin Can identifies.

Probably why most of us feel right at home. :-D

I've caught some sailcats from 5 to 15lbs on Topwater plugs over the last three weeks. The big ones fight really well.
