Eerman sure can catch a nice redfish. Look at what he has learned from Sir Reel.
The $95 for it wasn't bad either!

The hog trout weighed 4.44lbs IIRC

Erman's red weighed in at 6.90lbs

Both were very impressive fish.

I mainly just wanted to bring this post to the top ; but, I thought I'd run down a quick report. We hit the water at 6:30 behind BD and Reel Slow. Caught a couple of 16" trout quickly, then had to work hard the rest of day to get our limit. Lots and lots of trashfish. About 12:30 landed the above mentioned red. He was one of about 50 in the school and he was the baby :o Nevertheless, it was my uncle's first redfish and I think he enjoyed it. :o I also cast in the school of redfish and was lucky enough to hook into a ladyfish :smt013 I did manage to land a little smaller red later in the day to make me feel better. Final tally was 5 trout, 2 reds, 4 flounder, and bunches of ladyfish and blues.

The big weiner, I mean winner.

Couldn't figure out where I was going in the dark. Thought I would watch the experts go first
