Nice Day at St. Marks 9/24

Post by Flats Rascal »

Mrs. Rascal and I got an early start and launched from the lighthouse before first light. Drifted for a few hours inside the stake line. Caught a variety - grouper, trout, macs, bass - all short.

The highlights of the day were being greated in the darkness by three black bears on lighthouse road about a mile in off of 98, an abundance of turtles in the clear water and the refreshing swim at the bird rack.

It wasn't a productive day fishing but it was very, very nice being on the water after a two month absence.
