Hello, n00bie here, leading off w/ some somewhat specific questions:

Has anyone had any success fishing the east end of alligator harbor, and ditto on the marshes around Panacea?

looks fishy...

Welcome. Don't know about Alligator harbor. As Wevans will tell you, there are no fish around Panacea :wink: . Honestly, pretty good place for reds and trout. Be careful, lots of shallow bars, oyster and sand.

Red fish are HOT around Panacea right now and should get even better :thumbup: them danged Trouts are still so so :smt012 never fished Aligator Point harbor :beer:

there's oyster bars and marsh grass 'islands' right beside some decent grass flats, sounds like the recipe for some red catching...

Yep :thumbup: it's always looked like a good area, but when I can catch em closer ta home, ain't no need ta go over there :-D :beer:

isn't it safe to say where there's mullet there are reds and trout?
