i am thinking about heading out there sometime and fishing out of a small jon boat w/ trolling motor. does anyone have any tips on which direction i should head out of the landing or any specific area to fish?

I have always had better luck fishing to the right near the channel.

I agree with Tom, straight for Patty's Island and fish the channel on the west side of it. Also, there is some good limestone/bar on the southwest corner of the island to target redfish.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.

thanks for the tips. i have never been out there, so i am not sure where the channel is, but i am assuming i will see it and the island. thanks.
