Got to the landing at 7:20 AM. Only ones there  Headed out to the first spot just east going towards Econfina. Threw live shrimp out the back, X-Rap out the front. Third cast with the X-Rap yielded a 22" Red   As soon as the red was put in the box, a 19" trout hit the shrimp. This went on for an hour or so and we had 2 nice reds and 4 trout in the box. Nothing caught was short :o We set up one more drift a little more to the east and managed a few more keeper reds (released of course). The trout bite was slow, but the reds bit consistently......especially between 10:00 - 11:45 AM. We moved back in towards the mouth and tried one more spot. Hung a few more reds and got borke off by something nice. Decided to call it a day.

TOTAL : 2 REDS (22"- 24")
4 TROUT (19"- 22")
3 JACKS
10-15 RELEASED LEGAL REDS (ONLY 1 SHORT, 17")

All fish caught in 2-4 ft. Reds hit black/gold X-Rap and white/red grubs. Shrimp only yielded 1 keeper trout and numerous pins and cats. Tried CT's with not much luck and no keepers caught on them....odd for me.

Only one question...how far toward Ecofina? :)
