What knots do you use?

The loop knot I tie hasn't made any difference that I could tell and has been a PITA but I am new at it. Its basically an overhand knot in the line, then looping the tag end through the lure eye and tying an improved clinch knot in the pre-existing overhand knot.

For offshore stuff or surf fishing I will also tie a uni-snell. With heavy leader (80-100lb) a 3-turn uni will work also.
This is the surgeon's loop (called a double surgeon's loop here) I use for line-to-leader connections with similar diameters (its brutally simple and fast).

When line sizes get disporportinate I go uni-to-uni.
Here are some more of my knot links - some are more helpful than others.

I don't know what it is called....I twist the line about 6 or 7 times wet it and run it back through the loop at the hook. It has always works great.
My line is Berkley Big Game (Dark Green) 12lb. and 15lb.
I use that same knot, except I tie a quick knot in the line at the end, then run it thru the hook and twist the hook 3 times, run the knot thru the loop and pull the line tight until the knot stops it. NEVER had it come loose. Also, the fastest way to rehook I have found.
Hooked

The more I know about something, the more I know that I did not know as much as I thought I knew that I knew.
