Saint Marks 10/05/06 First Fish

Post by Sir reel »

Well my Son has been back from his deployment for about 3 weeks and Granddaughter Anna had the day off from School yesterday so we decided to conduct an experiment. Anna has enjoyed playing in our boat while on the trailer in the back yard but had never actually gone out on the water or done any fishing. We had talked about it some and were waiting for what seemed like a positive response from her before we actually exposed her to the elements. We weren’t in any hurry and arrived at Jerry’s Bait & Tackle around 9:30 preceded by a couple hundred “where’s the water??â€

I know that musta been a blast for all 3 of you. Also good to see photos of Bobby taken here and not in the Mid East. A happy and well-deserved reunion, and 3 generations, to boot. It dont get much better than that, trout or no trout.

you have a much prettier crew than i normally do and most likely smells better too. typically my crew needs just as much help, borrows tackle and winds up eating 1/2 my lunch.

on my granddaughter's first outing she also caught a fish a trout on cut bait it was about ten inches that had to be released. :-D

by the time we got home it grew from 10 to over twenty inches. amazing if you can teach them to turn the reel handle thy can figure out how to brag and exaggerate on there own. :smt005
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?
