St Marks 10-5 nearshore report

Post by Redfish Jim »

Took a friend with me today that wanted to catch some spanish. Put in at about 11:30 and fished the end of the incoming and first part of the falling.

Stopped in several spots from 15' - 22'. Best spot was on a big rock in 15'. Brought home 12 nice sea bass, 12" - 15", 14" flounder, two nice spanish mackeral and a pretty decent triggerfish. Numerous smaller sea bass, a 3 lb jack crevalle that pulled like a mule, ladyfish and assorted other trash fish kept it from ever getting boring.

Wish we could have got into more spanish but we had a real good time.
