Tom Keels and I launched from the LH a little before 1:00 p.m. to fish the rising tide and see if we could molest some redfish. We stopped and set up a couple of trout drifts near Grey Mare while waiting for the water to rise. Managed 6 trout on topwater baits. Nothing very big just 16-17"ers.
After the water came up a bit we headed in looking for reds. We were fortunate enough to boat 10 including a 29"er that Tom waylayed. Had to work hard for them today. The bite was not nearly as aggresive as yesterday and the north wind was howling. Caught'em on topwater, spoons, spinnerbaits, and cajun thunders.
Really enjoyed fishing with you Tom we'll have to do it again.

FUTCHCAIRO, where exactly is this creek? I would just love to meet Old Joe the Gator. I have no interest in fishing there ( ), so feel free to send me the exact location when you have a chance.
