Not sure where the NOAA forecast was dreamed up, but I believe it was somewhere in the neighborhood of the rectoral orifice as the wind was never less than 15, and was close to 20 most all the time. Myself, Gray, and Barry, and Angela (2 newbies to offshore). headed out :o To newbies and this wind is what we are greeted with when we make the turn at the end of the canal.

Decided to go to the bait spot and catch a couple dozen, to go with the frozen, and then finally decided to head out to the closest number I could bring up. It was not a real bad ride out, but when we stopped and anchored it was by far awful conditions. But we are going to be troupers here and attempt to put something in the box... Angela has a rod in the water and when the fish hit, and the rod bent, is was quite amusing as she was not sure, Gray helped her out, and she got the only keeper....
One of those highly endangered Reds.

I hear if you stand on your head for a day that your kidneys will migrate from your ankles back to your waist. Congradulations on a safe return with fishies

I've felt the same way numerous times but never come up with such an artful means of expressing it.

Nice fish  Glad you got to go out.
