St. Marks 10/15

Left the fort ramp around 11:00 AM. Went to 8' of water south of Stoney Bayou area. Caught several short trout, 1 Spanish, 2 short blues and tons of lizardfish. Went to Cobb rock as tide continued to fall. That thing is BIG! Had to use trolling motor to get around the area. Threw a top-water and BAM-hit by a 19'trout! Had several more blow-ups and one trout hook-up that I lost near the boat. Left around 6:30 as a gorgeous sunset was taking place. The water was like glass by this time. Not a mess of fish but a really pleasnt day with little wind for a change.

Did not see a whole lot of grass. The water was very clear at all depths we fished. Saw some tails break the surface near Cobb rock a few times...had to assume redfish, but no takers on the topwater or popping cork.
