Econfina 10/19

O.K., I couldn't take it anymore. Weekends weren't working out for fishing so my brother and I picked a day to take off and go and today was it. Headed out the mouth about 8:45 into a lot of fog and a flat surf. Not a lot of action but it sure was a nice day on the water. Chased the trout from Aucilla to Hickory Mound. Ended up with some sun, 7 keeper trout, 1 keeper Rock Bass, and a lot of great boatriding. It was still flat about 1:30 but as we headed in the chop picked up just a bit. Maybe they turned on for Georgia Boy and his group. I heard them on the radio while we fished...

I think anytime he's on the water and hearing the purrr of an outboard, he's having a good time.

Gulp under CT. Molting and New Penny. Candy Corn SWA under Cajun Thunder and 1 on Mirror Lure. Not sure which Mirror Lure, my brother caught that one.
