Launched at St Marks about 9:30, and fishing was slow for the first hour or two, boating 2 keeper trout and 5 reds. Then the tide won over the pestering N wind and what ensued was just awesome.
We boated 36 reds to 29", all but 5 were in the slot. Lost very few today. They seem to be liking spinners, spoons, and softbaits. Only 2 on TW. Best bite was 1 hour before and around high tide, but many fish were well off shore out on the flats.
Saw the 29" inhale my lure casually about 12' from the boat then sit there annoyed that it would go with him. We he saw the boat the fight was on with my light tackle rod.
A great day on the water with the best 2 hours of red fishing I've experienced. Buddy took some picts, but I won't get them till Monday
Ooohhhh can't wait till next time
