We left the ramp about 9:00 am and headed west to fish up close to St. George. Spent the first couple of hours there with no results. Had seen in the fishing report that there had been some fish on the north side of the bay along 98 so we headed over there sight unseen. :-? Found some grass and started fishing, the bite was slow but we were catching a fish hear and there. :) We didn't catch alot of fish early but what we caught were good :-? , we were over on that side from about 11:00 until 5:30 and ended up with 23 trout, 16 that were keeper size. The 10 we keep were between 17 and 22 inches. Most of the shorts were caught within an hour around 4:00. We also had about 15 catfish, two lady fish and 1 blue :P . We had to fish hard but it ended up being a good day fishing. Just about all of the fish were caught with the C/T candy corn and electric chicken. One note, I was using the smaller C/T and so was my fishing partner Scott until we lost his and then he went to the bigger size and produced more fish than I did the last 1 1/2 hours. I have not fished the bigger C/T but might have to give it a try.

Hey Tod, good report. I've fished St George some but mainly the back side of Dog Island. I don't get down that way much but I like that area. I knew a Tod Browning when I was growing up, would you be him?

Way to go Tod, a limit of fish is a limit of fish :D . We fished straight out from where me and you fished the other day. Those storms mucked the water up again last week. I couldn't see the bottom like we did the other week, so we had to go out to 3-6 foot water to find them. Nice report.

Tod, we need to hook up. My son has three more weekends of baseball then I'll have my Saturdays back. I'll try to slip in a fishing trip during the week sometimes but it's kind of a last minute thing if I get to go. You can e-mail me (JFoy@aol.com) or we can get together in a couple of weeks.
