Joefisher Redmann and Myself left the river about 7:30. Met 76Carman and MHNEWELL at the bell bouy and caught up some 1 pound blue runners. Went to O to get some more bait and lost 3 sabikis to something. We had about a dozen blue runners and 2 dozen cigar minnows so we went south of O to look for fish. Wehn we got there Joe caught a king and I caught a bonita and the tide stopped and that was that.

Decided to try out the runners on the Yamaha and were rewarded with some big boys. Some we could not turn around. Here's 2 of the ones Redmann and I caught.

After that we ran back northwest to some good bottom and started catching assorted fish. Joe did best with 2 grouper and a red snapper. This grouper was 14 pounds...

We also had a big bull shark cruise by the boat with about 20 AJ's in tow. It wasn't long before I landed another one about 20 pounds. But he went back.

Seas were a little choppy in the morning but flattened out to long rollers by afternoon. We headed in about 3:30.

Total tally:

4 Rock Bass
2 Gags to 14 pounds
1 17" red snapper (we release several 15" ones)
1 33" king
3 AJ's to 14 pounds.

Nice day on the water.
