Fishing is heading into the winter phase so hit the creeks and bayous for your inshore fishing , but don’t give up on the flats just yet.
Port St Joe area the trout are taking red and white on the flats and dead shrimp in the creeks and bayous. Red fish schools are still cruising the flats but can also be found on the bottom with cut bait in the Gulf County Canal. Sheepshead are getting hungry around structure and make a good meal. The black drum are turning on inland also using shrimp on the bottom. The kings are still around the oil docks along with the Spanish so be prepared for the toothy fish.
Good luck and have a safe trip
