mashes 10/25

Had intentions of running out to marker 24 and maybe further early, but it was blowing early (noaa lied, again ), so we were left fishing around the bars on a dead low, not much water movement by the time we got situated. caught a couple of short trout and a toadie, pretty dead. wind slacked so we ran out to rotary for a few minutes (no luck trolling) then on to 24. Fish everywhere around the barges, kings and spanish chasing bait (some), but everything had lockjaw. Dropped squid and dead sardines all on top of fish, nada but a bad day fishing beats a good day of work

should have hung out and fished the last 1/2 of the incoming tide, but my dad tells me no need to be dumb if you can't show it

btw, can you NOT fish around the 'fish havens', someone told me that today

Time on the water will turn into fish in the cooler...
Did you try any live bait?
If there's not a life after fishing, I don't want to live it.....
