Lake Hall - Oct 29

Post by Terrier »

I fished today from 8:00AM to 1:00PM and got 5 - 1 dink and 4 others with the largest only about 14". 3 on senkos, 1 on a jig worm and 1 on a shallow crank.

Lake Hall has been slow - water is very clear and weedy. The water level is down about one foot from normal. Hopefully we'll get some good winter rains.

It was a tough bite - I think they were all nosed deep into the milfoil/fanwort. I did see one 3-4lb bass rise to the top from dense weeds, snatch a bug from the surface and then bury back up in the weeds. This was in about 7 feet of water with the weeds growing to within 2 feet of the surface. The bass just disappeared back into the weeds.

It seems that this year, all the fronts blow through on a friday giving us bluebird weather for the weekend.
