Horseshoebeach 11/5-11/10

Post by thegovernor »

I am new to the website and wanted to say that it is great, with lots of information and lots of fisherman willing to share info with others.
That said, I just got back from a yearly trip to Horseshoe Beach with my Dad and Granddad. Fishing was great lots of reds all in the 15 to 25 inch range. Trout were good in the morning and late afternoon, someday's better than others. Most were 13 to 14 inch range but caught more large trout than normal 10 or more were 23" plus.
Here is the fish that made the trip

30" and to my best estimate probably 6.5 to 7lbs but had no way to weigh it. All in all a great trip and I am already looking forward to next year.
