NOAA was wrong again, a beautiful day on the water even if the bite was slow. My pardner caught a pompano in 6' South of the rock garden and we managed a few rock bass but the only keeper trout were caught on the West flats. No action on top water at all , c/t with s/a tipped with shrimp or fishbites or c/t with live shrimp did all the catching. I had a cobia try to take my c/t again, I've got to put a hook in that thing!
Shure beats what I've been doin all day Sounds like ya'll had fun and caught a few fish, cann't beat that with a stick
“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”
ST99, Why haven't you tried them? If they catch alot of grass it would be a pain, but if they catch one cobe that would be great. It's happened to me twice in two years.
AJ, I don't use them all the time. If the fish are hitting the cork, I change to the treble hooked cork. I also have some new ones I'd be glad to let you try. I'll check tonight and see if the address is on the package.
I like ST99's plan too. That's what I do now. It's a trick I picked up bass fishing many years ago, throw something different at them and they sometimes come back after it. Notice I did say "Sometimes."
