STOLEN VEHICLE 11/5/06 - UPDATE
Moderators: bman, Chalk, Tom Keels
There are a few honest tow trucks around and there are some dishonest tow trucks.
A couple of years ago, my son's truck was towed from his apt. @ 4AM. It was parked illegally of course, but that's beside the point!
I took him to pick it up and noticed the tow truck office was under construction with no visible permit . As I paid the fine, I inquired about the construction permit. I was asked to leave!!!
I left and called C.O.T Code Inforcement and they put a slow down to the project.
Illegally parked or illegal construction????

Civics are popular with those that boost cars.
Unless you want to give them a reward..

Glad you got it and to hell with the theives...

If there's not a life after fishing, I don't want to live it.....
I completely agree. Don't let their incompetence hit you in the wallet! Glad you go your car back!Dubble Trubble wrote:YOU may want to thank them, BUT they should have notified you the day it was towed....
They just are stealing 10 days of fees from you....
I would take them to court over it....
Whenever they tow a vehicle, it is THEIR responsibility to inform the owner promptly. Also, they WERE in possession of a stolen vehicle for 10 days....right? I mean, you DID report it to police didn't you?
My 2 cents worth.....
