We fished inshore from about 10 am til 3:30 pm and did decent. We ended up with a two person limit of trout and released a few more keepers and about 15 shorts. Caught them on anything from straight jig, jig under Cajun Thunder, cut bait under Cajun Thunder and Live bait under Cajun Thunder. There was no really good bite, just slow and steady all day. Last trip down there a few weeks before this one there were bait pods everywhere being blasted by fish on the surface. Did not see any of that this trip but the blues and spanish were still around. We caught and released a couple of blues and kept one keeper spanish, its the biggest I have ever caught or seen in person. Just over 25" and about 5.5 lbs.
